As for DX9 support, it shouldn't be too much to backport the framework code. I've got to finish the DX10 port first.
The renderer is designed to integrated with an existing swapchain-- Ultralight requires no control over the main loop and simply emits a command buffer for consumption by the user when drawing a frame (see
include/platform/GPUDriver.h in the SDK).
A static build is not possible at this time because WebCore's LGPL license requires that we keep it in a separate, dynamically-linked module.
